01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Tucked into a quiet residential corner of Musashiseki, Oppla'! Da Gtalia draws immediate attention with pizzas baked to order in an eye-catching stone oven. The crust is fragrant, nicely blistered, and easy to bite through. Alongside a classic Margherita, the menu features competition winners such as the signature STG and the NMP, topped with house-made sausage and leafy greens. For diners eager to try both, the Gtalia half-and-half pie offers an ideal compromise.

Beyond Pizza: Thoughtful Antipasti and Local Produce

While the wood-fired pies take center stage, the pizzeria pays just as much attention to its starters and side dishes. Plump, oven-roasted house sausage and a caprese salad made with mozzarella from Shiranuka Rakkeisha in Hokkaido brighten the table while the oven does its work. Salads and soups featuring produce grown nearby in Nerima highlight the kitchen's commitment to seasonal, regional ingredients across non-pizza courses.

From Italian Wines to After-Dinner Sips

Meals can be paired naturally with Italian wines or beer, transitioning seamlessly into desserts, digestifs, and espresso in true Italian fashion. Chilled limoncello, bitter amaro, rich grappa, and aromatic espresso provide a leisurely finish that lingers pleasantly well after the plates are cleared.

Seating includes standard tables, counter spots overlooking the action at the oven through glass, and an outdoor terrace. Because the dining room fills up quickly at both lunch and dinner, reserving ahead is recommended.
